A New Hope- Full-Time Comic Book Dealer

Hi all, Matt White here. I’m taking the risk and have left my corporate position. I decided it was time to focus more than just a few hours a week on my side hustle of selling comics books. I know this is a risk but somehow I have ended up with about 20,000 comics and perhaps one million cards so it is time to sell some.

I am not a professional blogger, which you can probably already tell. I also am not sure how often or how well my blogs will be received. For now I am just testing out writing blogs and setting up a blog page on my ytowncomics.com website. I will get better at this I promise.

In the meanwhile I will plan to highlight what new comics I have listed here along with any other comic news that I find interesting. I will then share my post on social media.

Please consider following me on social media and also subscribing to my e-mail list. I will provide discounts to people who buy directly from my e-commerce store instead of EBay and also will do my best to entertain and inform you.

A lot more comics listed and social media is now active

Hi all and welcome back to YTown Comics. I am really starting to get faster and have a lot more comics listed and social media is now active.

So here are the latest updates quickly as I need to get to bed as I have been at it for several hours tonight. First, I am happy to show off this all new slider on the top of our Comics for Sale shop page that scrolls through random comics on the website. Of course using the search to just type in what you want is likely what most people should use but I still think sliders are cool and am happy to get this one working.

So what have I listed in the last few days? Let me just show you several of the comics at the end of this post but before I do I forgot to mention several other cool features. The wantlist function is active. Now you can click on a comic and save it to your wantlist if you are not ready to buy it just yet. It is a cool feature. I also have added a member section so you can register and tell me a little about yourself.  Check out my member page here

I also have setup social media accounts on Facebook, Pinterest, and Twitter. Follow YTownComics on the site of your choice for new comic updates and notification of my latest posts.

I think that is enough for tonight but check out some of the best comics and some cool covers that I have listed for sale over the last few days:

    Later,

    Matt

    Store is Open for Business

Hi everyone, I am happy to announce that my YTown Comics online store is now open for business. It was a busy weekend of uploading images, grading comics, and slowly figuring out how to upload the best possible comic book listings.

There are only about 80 comics listed so far which include several Avengers mini-series. The easiest way to see what is listed is to just do a simple search of Avengers in the search bar. Here are the 24 results currently with many as low as $0.99 each.

I also have been listing a run of the Flash (2016) title with more issues being listed tonight.

The best comics that I have listed are shown below. Grab them while you can.

    Daredevil (1964) #29

    [insert page=’daredevil-1964-29′ display=’post-thumbnail’]

    Conan the Barbarian (1970) #7

    Welcome and Please Be Patient

Hi comic fans and Russian hackers!

Matt White, owner of YTown Comics here. I am continuing to look for the better ways to use my technical website skills and expand my comic book sales and so have started this site. I have already got many comics posted under the Shop tab but need to verify my inventory, grade them, and price them before they will show up in inventory. You should see some inventory this weekend.

In the meanwhile I will add a contact form if you want to jump the line and see what I have. My Ebay store will also be renewed.

    More information to come soon.

    Thanks,

    Matt
